First-Class PurGo Software Puts Bywaters Ahead of the Game

Bywaters has cut down on paperwork and further streamlined its waste management operations by introducing next-generation PurGo software from VWS Software Solutions.

Designed to manage all waste collection and management processes from end to end, the £150,000 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system automates many previous back office functions and provides Bywaters and our customers with real-time data across all operations.

Kelly Geraldo, Bywaters’ IT Applications Manager, said of the upgrade to our system:

How it Works

The system went live on April 4^th following a successful trial. It allows all information about jobs to be uploaded remotely on specially designed tablets carried by drivers, including those delivering our ‘rapid response’ service.

Customers can then receive automatic job confirmations and waste transfer notes (WTNs) via email, with access to in-depth reporting information ranging from the name of the driver and vehicle to the time they arrived on site and the quantity of waste collected.

Unlike the previous ERP software used by Bywaters, it also integrates with our existing software systems, giving us comprehensive control over all our information in one place.
